Still a little moist, but at least I could knead it at that point.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2984206126690206530.post-48259868952698044232013-02-12T16:27:55.145-05:002013-02-12T16:27:55.145-05:00I'm so sorry that the recipe didn't work o...I'm so sorry that the recipe didn't work out for you! Was it particularly humid that day? I have had to adjust flour amounts sometimes, but this one worked out for me... I hope you have a chance to try it again, or let me know if you find a recipe that works out better for you!shelley c.https://www.blogger.com/profile/04300272302519975542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2984206126690206530.post-478634237153133732013-02-12T14:10:25.035-05:002013-02-12T14:10:25.035-05:00This recipe was a flop for me. I'm wondering if the recipe should call for more flour. So 'wet' my dishtowel stuck to the top while it was rising. Took it off and tore off the entire top layer... So sad... Any ideas?Courtneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04365846662744704238noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2984206126690206530.post-65421820496203139292013-01-12T05:37:01.101-05:002013-01-12T05:37:01.101-05:00I have always wanted to make one of these and now ...I have always wanted to make one of these and now you've spurred me on. I love the cinnamon brown sugar swirl filling..is that a norm? One of the reasons I never made King Cake was because I thought it was just a dry sweet bread with icing and colors! I think the cinnamon filling is brilliant, Shelley! What a masterpiece! Yours would sell like hotcakes on Bourbon Street!Lisahttp://lisamichele.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2984206126690206530.post-21792989097284224402013-01-10T09:08:03.778-05:002013-01-10T09:08:03.778-05:00 Looks yummy.
